Faith Unplugged: Diving deeper into our relationship with God, where to start if you’re new, growing closer with God, all while getting to know others alike and on the same journey.
God's Word. Your Walk
So here's how this whole podcast thing started...
I started my podcast because of how deeply my relationship with God has shaped my life, and I wanted to share that with others. My faith has been such a big part of who I am now, and I felt called to spread His word in a way that connects with people. This podcast is a space where I can grow, learn, and dive deeper into my faith every day while also helping others strengthen their own relationships with God. It's about sharing our journey's, supporting one another, and encouraging each other as we walk this path together.

God's Dwelling Place
It's easy to forget that God doesn't just dwell in churches, altars or special places. He lives within you. Paul reminds the believers in Corinth that they are God's temple, meaning His very presene takes residence inside their hearts. The same Spirit that raised Jesus from the dead isn't distant or unreachable. He's as close as your next breath.
This truth changes how we live and see ourselves. When we understand that we carry God's presence, we begin to walk with greater purpose and reverence. We start to speak with grace, act with love, and think with purity. Not out of duty, but because we know who dwells within us.
God didn't choose perfection as His dwelling place. he chose you. Despite flaws, fears, or failures, His spirit remains steadfast, shaping you daily into His image.
"Don't you realize that all of you together are the temple of God and that the Spirit of God lives in you?"
1 Corinthians 3:16 (NLT)

Written on Your Heart
In a world where love can feel conditional and kindness is often forgotten, Proverbs 3:3 calls us back to what truly matters; loyalty and kindness. These two virtues aren't meant to be temporary actions we turn on and off when convenient. They're meant to become part of who we are.
When we "write them deep within our heart", it means allowing God's character to take root in us; so deeply that our words, choices, and reactions naturally reflect His love. Being loyal means being steadfast and true, both to God and to others. Kindness means showing grace, even when it isn't returned.
As you move through your day, remember that these qualities aren't just for the easy moments. They're most powerful when life feels unfair or people are difficult to love. That's when your heart-shaped by God's truth-shines brightest.
"Never let loyalty and kindess leave you. Tie them around your neck as a reminder. Write them deep within your heart."

Guarded by His Angels
There's something deeply comforting about knowing that God's protection surrounds you, not just in moments of danger, but in the everyday paths of life. Psalm 91:11 reminds us that God's care is active and intentional. he commands His angels to watch over us, guiding and shielding us even when we're unaware of it.
This isn't a promise that life will always be free of trouble, but it is a promise that you're never alone in it. God's protection covers both the seen and unseen battles-from the things that worry your mind to the dangers that never touch you because He intervened before you even know.
Every step you take, every door you walk through, His angels are at work, carrying out His loving command to keep you safe. When fear or uncertainty tries to creep in, rest in this truth: your life is under divine watch.
"For he will order his angels to protect you where you go."
Psalm 91:11 NLT

Unbreakable Love
There are days when you might feel distant from God; when guilt, failure, or pain try to convince you that His love has limits. But Romans 8:39 powerfully reminds us that nothing can separate us from God's love. Not mistakes, not fear, not even the darkest valley or the highest mountain. His love is unbreakable and unshakable.
Paul wrote these words to assure believers that God's love isn't based on circumstances. It's rooted in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That means no matter how far you feel from Him, His love still reaches you. His arms are never too short to pull you close again.
When life feels uncertain or you being to doubt your worth, remember God's love isn't something you earn; it's something you're given freely, eternally, and completely.
"No power in the sky above or in the earth below-indeed, nothing in all creation will ever be able to separate us from the love of God that is revealed in Christ Jesus our Lord."
Romans 8:39 NLT

Gratitude in Every Season
Gratitude is easy when life is smooth, when prayers are answered, doors open, and blessings flow. But this verse calls us to something deeper: to give thanks in all circumstances, not just the pleasant ones. God's will isn't that we pretend hardships don't exist; but that we choose a heart of gratitude through them.
Thankfulness shifts our focus from what's missing to what God is doing. it reminds us that even in disappointment, His hand is still working. When we give thanks in every season - good or bad- we declare our trust that God is faithful, wise, and always in control.
Gratitude isn't about ignoring pain; it's about seeing purpose. Each time we thank God in the midst of uncertainty, our faith grows stronger, and our perspective becomes clearer.
"Be thankful in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you who belong to Christ Jesus"
1 Thessalonians 5:18 NLT

Grace and Peace to You
Before Paul dives into encouragement or instruction, he begins his letter with a blessing, grace and peace. These two words hold incredible power. Grace reminds us that everything we have comes as a gift from God-forgiveness, salvation, and strength for each new day. Peace reminds us that, through Christ, our hearts can rest even when life feels uncertain.
Paul's greeting isn't just polite; it's purposeful. He's speaking God's truth over the believers; that no matter what challenges they face, grace is available, and peace is possible. God's grace meets us where we are, and His peace guards us as we walk forward.
Today, receive this same blessing. Whatever is weighing on your heart, remember: His grace is enough, and His peace is yours to keep.
"May God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ give you grace and peace."
2 Corinthians 1:2 NLT

Abundant Mercy, Peace and Love
Jude's greeting is simple but powerful-a prayer that God would increase mercy, peace, and love in the lives of believers. Notice the wording: "more and more." It's a reminder that God's blessings aren't meant to run dry or stay the same; they are meant to grow within us and flow through us.
Mercy reminds us of God's compassion-how He meets us in our weakness and offers forgiveness we don't deserve. Peace calms our hearts amid the noise of life, assuring us that God is in control. And love-His unconditional, unchanging love-transforms the way we see ourselves and others.
Jude's prayer isn't just a wish; it's a reflection of God's heart for His people. He doesn't give us mercy, peace, and love in small portions; He pours them out abundantly, renewing us daily.
"May God give you more and more mercy, peace, and love".
Jude 1:2 NLT
